Our little boy is getting bigger and bigger

We've had a couple of appointments with Zach since we last posted an update on his weight gain progression. He's been eating like a champ and has gained around a half pound each of the last 2 weeks. Yesterday, he weighed in at 8 pounds, 8.5 ounces!!

Here is an updated chart with his weight since birth:

• August 1st - 7 pounds, 4.6 ounces
• August 2nd - 7 pounds even
• August 3rd - 6 pounds, 11 ounces
• August 4th - 6 pounds, 9 ounces
• August 6th - 6 pounds, 11 ounces
• August 12th - 7 pounds, 3 ounces
• August 14th - 7 pounds, 5.3 ounces
• August 21st - 7 pounds, 13.9 ounces
• August 28th - 8 pounds, 8.5 ounces

We unofficially measured his length last night and it looks like about 20.5 inches (up from 19 at birth). We've got a one month well baby check on September 8th, and we'll be able to get an official length and head size as well as percentiles for him then.
