Our new garage doors

Last fall, Kim and I were having one of our "gourmet lunches" at the Costco food court (a Polish sausage, slice of pizza, drink and very berry sundae all for less than $6), when we noticed one of the displays for the home improvement services that Costco offers. One thing jumped out at us - their custom garage door service. We have had issues with the garage doors at our house for a while - they aren't insulated, the don't have good seals on the edges, the openers are very old and loud, etc. So we decided to give them a call and get an estimate.

When we got back after our holiday travels, we called them and they gave us an estimate that included heavy duty insulated aluminum doors, new openers and an exterior keypad with installation and demolition/haul-away of the old doors and openers. The price was so good, we decided to go for it and get ourselves a belated holiday gift. They came out and installed everything this past Thursday, January 31st, and we love our new doors and openers. Here are some before, during and after pictures as our new garage doors and openers were installed.

Those look really nice. If only I'd seen your house. I guess we weren't good enough. :)
