This past year was the first year since I moved to Washington that I was actually in Washington for Christmas day. After opening gifts at home in the morning, Kim and I drove out to see her parents and brother in Bremerton. After we crossed over the Narrows bridge, it started snowing, and it kept coming down as we got closer to her parents house. When we got there, we could officially declare that we had a white Christmas. I can't remember for sure the last time I had a white Christmas, so my first Christmas in the state of Washington was definitely memorable.

Yes, Kim's parents really do live at the corner of This-a-Way and That-a-Way. These signs tend to get stolen pretty often in their neighborhood, but we caught them at a time when they're both there:
